All About Us!

We settled in Wabos Valley in 1983. One year later we started to make hand split/straight split cedar shakes and formed Achigan Cedar Shake Enterprises.

We have guided 18 day canoe trips on Lake Huron's North Channel before settling here in Wabos. We are now residing by Wolf Mountain with our children Myrica and Forrest, Brittany Spaniel Amber, cat Mr Trouble and cockatiel Chi-Chi.

Jeff is a botanist, construction enthusiast, producer of hand split cedar shakes and various cedar products, fishing and hiking enthusiast and much more.... Britta enjoys nature, animals, music, building projects and the outdoors.... Myrica lives for snowboarding and loves music and art......Forrest's passion is skiing, drumming and fishing.

We hope that you can come and enjoy a retreat into nature in Wabos!
